Yoga is a way of life that combines movement and stillness to maintain physical and mental health, not only focusing on the body but also on the heart. There are only three steps to getting started:
1. Find a good teacher
Yoga is actually teaching us to properly “use” our own body, which involves all aspects, and it is necessary to have a good teacher to bring in the door. At present, the domestic yoga instructor training system is not very standardized, the quality of teachers is uneven, and it is necessary to have “sightly eyes” to find a coach.
Beginners must practice under the guidance of professional teachers. If conditions are limited or professional teachers cannot be found, they should try their best to learn more about the correct practice methods through videos or books, or use some professional apps to help. You suggest the asana sequence and practice points. Everyone needs a good teacher to practice yoga, but a teacher doesn’t have to be a “person”.
2. Adhere to regular practice, step by step
Yoga is a typical example of “practicing knowledge”, and if you practice it regularly for a long time, you will naturally feel its benefits. If you practice more than 2 times a week, you can see your changes in a month.
There are different types of yoga, such as Hatha Yoga, Shengwang Yoga, etc. There are also many factions that are commonly used in fitness, such as Ashtanga, Iyengar Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, and so on.

Most beginners can start with the most basic hatha yoga or Iyengar yoga, and then try other styles and styles they like after their physical fitness has improved to a certain extent.
3. Keep improving and apply it to your life
Yoga does not necessarily only happen in the classroom, if its essence of it can be used in daily life, it will have a multiplier effect. For example, if you don’t have the conditions to take a nap at noon, you can use yoga meditation to relax. If you can’t sleep well at night, try yoga rest…
Gradually you will find that yoga is really not just fitness, but a way of life.
I usually practice yoga 3-5 times a week, and yoga has made my body better, my mood better, and my body easier.
